Doubling up of teams

Hi, it has been noticed on our league (GSS-F1) that we have somehow got two teams entered that are exactly the same. I believed that this could not be done since i did originally test this theory and a warning came up telling me this could not happen. The two guys entered are a little frustrated by this as we do have a prize fund down on it. Is it at all possible to make any amendments to one of the teams at this point?

Hi JC,

Sorry that you thought you could not create 2 identical teams in one league. There has never been any restriction like that, although I think that is a great feature to have as an option when a league is created. Maybe I'll look at adding that for next season.

I can't allow either of the teams to be changed, but the tie breaker will separate them both at the end of the season. That is what it is there for.

Ok cool, if its not against the rules then its not a problem! i do think this would make a good addition as an option for next season though... i'm also glad to have hopefully made a contribution to the site if this goes through, haha!!

I think allowing only unique

I think allowing only unique teams in leagues would also encourage people to make decisions earlier than only after the Friday practises, because by then someone might have already reserved the good team.
