Friend could not sign up

Hi there Ian,

Is there any way at all that a friend of mine could still be added to the game. He unfortunately missed the deadline. I would be very grateful if you could let me know if this is possible at all?

Surely if it's possible new members signing up but starting on 0 points wouldn't effect the game negatively. I know three people who'd like to join my league but missed out as I only found out about this site 12 hours before the deadline.

It may well be technically possible to allow new users to join late. However, this is not something that I have allowed in previous seasons, so I have not taken the time to design this feature. I 'think' I would only need to open up the 'create new teams' permission and everything would work. But, as you can imagine, new features like this take a lot of testing before they can be released on this site.

If there is enough interest, I may be prepared to create a clone site at testing.fantasyf1game.net where users could test this feature out. However, users would need to be prepared for things not quite working right.

What do you think?
