Points query for Petrov

I was wondering whether it is correct to score Petrov as finishing the race in 17th place, considering he had an accident and left the race early?

Scores currently have Petrov finishing 17th, and therefore Renault Car has received 20 bonus points as well as the standard race points for driver, car and engine.

Can you clarify on this?

According to FIA rules, a driver is classified as eligible for points if they have completed at least 90% of the winner's race distance. So, even if a driver does not finish the race, he can still gain points.
