Team name

just been trying to enter the team name i used last year Penelope Pitstop when i finished in 129th position, but couldn't enter it as my name was already taken, i didn't know it was first come first served, had to put a 2 after my team name. otherwise looking forward to another season.

could you please explain why another player was allowed to use the team name which i used last year (Penelope Pitstop) ?

Yes, team naming works on a first come, first served basis. No 2 teams can have the same name in one season, but teams can have the same name as a team from a previous season.

If you really want that name next season, I'm afraid the only thing you can do is get in there quickly. Sorry.
