Fantasy Formula 1 2008

It's that time of year again... get your thinking caps on and select your team for the 2008 Fantasy Formula 1 competition. You can also set up your own league so that you and your friends can compete against each other.

If you are new to this Fantasy Formula 1 game, first you will need to create a user account. It's quick and simple and just requires you to enter a user name and a valid email address. Once registered, you can begin creating your leagues and teams completely free of charge. I would definately recommend that you read through all of the instructions and check out the component prices first though.

If you played last year, you can login and then Create your team now. If you ran your own league last year, all the teams have been removed, but you can use the same league again.

We also have a new feature for 2008. You can now add your league table to your own website using a simple piece of code. Read how to do this.

If you entered a team into last years competition, you can still view the team details by visiting My teams. You will see a list titled 'My old teams' which shows you the year, final score and final position in the main public league. Clicking on the team name will reveal a complete breakdown of points scored during the season.

The poll at the beginning of last season clearly showed that many users would prefer a larger budget, so this year the budget has been increased to £90million. I've also re-structured to component prices slightly to make team selections more interesting and (...hopefully!) varied.
