Visit your 'My teams' page, then select the team you're interested in. Towards the bottom, there's a table titled 'Current League Positions'. Against the Main public league, the number is a click-able link that takes you straight to the page your team is on.

The tiebreaker MUST be entered in the exact format shown in the example. That is h:mm:ss.fff. Note that there is a colon between the hours, minutes and seconds, but a decimal point between the seconds and milliseconds.

You can remove one of your teams from a league by visiting 'My teams', finding the team in the list and then clicking the 'Leave league' link next to the relevant league name.

You can reset a league password yourself by following these steps:

1. log in to the site (must be the same user that created the league).
2. click on 'My leagues' (top left menu).
3. click on the league name.
4. click on the 'Edit' tab.
5. enter a new password into both password boxes.
6. click 'Submit'.

The points scored for qualifying are based on the qualifying classification, not grid position. If a driver is penalised for changing engine/gearbox, he does not lose qualification points for it. The driver/team have worked hard to qualify well and deserve the points. Their grid penalty means they will probably end up scoring less points during the race, which should act as suitable punishment (unless they have a great race, in which case they fully deserve the points!).

This is probably due to browser caching. To fix this, visit the My teams page and then click your browser's refresh button.

It could be one of two things:

  • You are not a registered user or you have not logged in.
  • or:

  • The site is not currently open for new team creation. There is only a small window each year when users can create new teams. This is normally about one month, just before the start of the season. After that, the competition is under way and users can no longer create or edit teams.

Once you have created your team, click on the 'My teams' link in the top left of the page. This will display a list of your teams created for this season. In the far right column of this list, click on the 'Join league' link next to the relevant team. Then select the league you wish to join and enter a password if required.

You setup your own league at http://fantasyf1game.net/create-league. Don't forget to add a password if you want to make it a private league, otherwise anyone can join.

Then you let everyone you want to invite know the name of your league (and the password, if set). You could send them all an email, create a forum or newsgroup post, phone them up, or any other method you choose. They will then need to:

There are 2 main reasons why you may not receive the registration email:

  1. You entered your email address incorrectly.
  2. The email was blocked by your spam filter.

You can check that you entered your email address correctly by requesting a new password using your email address NOT your username. If your email address is not recognised (meaning you entered a different address when you registered), you will get en error message. If this happens, send me an email stating your username and I will correct your email address, allowing you to request a new password.

If your email address was recognised, you will be sent another email with a new password. Check to see if you receive that email. If not, it is likely that your spam filters are blocking emails from this site. This is quite common with business email accounts because of the word 'fantasy' in the domain name. If you have control over your spam filters, then you can add the 'fantasyf1game.net' domain to your white list. If not, you'll either need to re-register with a different email address or send me an email stating your username, so that I can validate your account and set your password to 'changeme'. I recommend that you then change the password the first time you login.

Yes. For example, if you select the Toyota engine for the 2009 season, you will score engine points based on the finishing positions of each of the following drivers:

  • Nico Rosberg
  • Kazuki Nakajima
  • Jarno Trulli
  • Timo Glock

You can change your teams as many times as you like prior to the start of the season. After that, your team is fixed for the remainder of the season.

Sorry, but no. Once the season begins, your team can no longer be changed.
