Creating a new league after the start of the season.

Is it possible to create a new league after the start of the season?

It does not seem an unreasonable thing to want to do, but when I try I get to the access denied screen.

You can now create new leagues

You're right. It's not an unreasonable request, so I've now given all users permission to create and edit leagues.

However, this ability will be removed on Friday 17th April 2009 at 23:59 GMT, when you will no longer be able to enter a league. The reason for this is to prevent people from cheating the league of leagues table by adding teams that are performing well to their league.

Hi - I'd like to create a league but access is denied. It seems that in previous years this has been possible.

I've reinstated the access for anyone to create new leagues. I might review the requirement later in the season.
